The Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is an ensured place in the  Terai  of  eastern Nepal covering 175 sq km   of wetlands in the Sunsari, Saptari and Udayapur Districts. It contains wide-ranging mudflats, reed beds, and freshwater swamps in the floodplain of the Sapta Kosi River, and ranges in elevation from 75 to 81 m (246 to 266 ft). It was set up in 1976 and assigned as a Ramsar site in December 1987. Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp, set up in 1993, was the main extravagance camp in this natural life Reserve. It was set up basically for fledgling watchers. The Camp is perfect for all nature darlings looking for peace inside a heaven of nature.  The Camp is ran with neighborhood biologists and fledgling masters. It has 12 huge special safari tents furnished with present day offices. Its eatery serves Nepalese and universal cooking and has a completely loaded bar.  Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve lies on the alluvial surge  plain  of Sapta Koshi River. This, the biggest waterway in Nepal, courses through the hold. The Sapta Koshi is one of the three fundamental rivers of the Ganga. Reverie and Sal woodlands and prairies overwhelm the vegetation of the hold. This blend of vegetation and wetland demonstrates an extraordinary site for winged creatures and creatures.  The fundamental warm blooded animals here are the Wild Buffalo, Blue Bull and  Gangetic Dolphin.  Around 300 types of winged creatures have been recorded in this save. These incorporate waterfowl, flying creatures of prey, waders, and other water flying creatures.
